Privacy Policy for Heartmonize

Because Heartmonize is a couples-focused relationship app, you may also share information about your relationship status and your partner (for example, their name or nickname if you choose to enter it).

Terms of Use for Heartmonize
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using the Heartmonize app (the “App”), which is owned by Arise and Live Christian Counseling, Inc. (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the App.
Heartmonize is a relationship education and support tool and does not provide emergency services, diagnosis, or treatment. Your use of the App does not create a therapist–client or doctor–patient relationship.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. If you are under 18, please do not use the App.
3. Account Registration
To access certain features of Heartmonize, you may need to create an account. You agree to provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration and to keep your information updated as needed. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities that occur under your account.
If you connect your account with a partner’s account, you acknowledge that certain information (such as shared activities or responses you choose to share) may be visible to your partner within the App.
4. Use of the App
Heartmonize is intended for personal, non-commercial use to support relationship education, growth, and reflection. You agree to use the App only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree that you will not:
Use the App to harm, harass, threaten, or intimidate others.
Misuse any communication features to send abusive, hateful, or inappropriate content.
Engage in any activity that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the App’s functioning.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the App, other users’ accounts, or any systems or networks connected to the App.
Bypass or attempt to bypass any security or access controls used to protect the App and its data.
5. Content Ownership and License
All content included in the App—such as assessments, courses, exercises, text, graphics, logos, icons, images, and other materials—is the property of Arise and Live Christian Counseling, Inc. or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use Heartmonize solely for your personal, non-commercial use in accordance with these Terms. You may not reproduce, distribute, publicly display, modify, create derivative works from, or exploit any content from the App without our prior written consent.
6. Data Collection and Privacy
Your use of Heartmonize is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains what data we collect, how we use it, and how we protect it. By using the App, you consent to the collection and use of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.
7. Prohibited Conduct
In addition to the obligations above, you agree not to:
Violate any applicable laws or regulations while using the App.
Infringe the rights of others, including privacy, publicity, or intellectual property rights.
Introduce or distribute viruses, malware, or other harmful code.
Scrape, crawl, or use automated means to access the App or any content, except as expressly permitted by us.
Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
8. Termination of Use
We may suspend or terminate your access to Heartmonize at our sole discretion, with or without notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms of Use, misused the App, or engaged in behavior that is harmful, unlawful, or inconsistent with the purpose of the App.
Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. Certain provisions of these Terms, such as intellectual property rights, disclaimers, and limitations of liability, will continue to apply even after termination.
9. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability
Heartmonize and all content within the App are provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. We do not guarantee that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, secure, or that it will meet your specific expectations.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Arise and Live Christian Counseling, Inc. and its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates will not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of, or inability to use, the App. This includes, without limitation, damages for loss of data, loss of goodwill, or other intangible losses, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Arise and Live Christian Counseling, Inc., its officers, employees, agents, and affiliates from and against any claims, demands, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to:
Your use of the App,
Your violation of these Terms of Use, or
Your violation of any rights of another person or entity.
11. Changes to Terms
We may modify or update these Terms of Use from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you through the App, by email, or by other reasonable means. Your continued use of Heartmonize after such changes take effect indicates your acceptance of the updated Terms of Use.
12. Governing Law
These Terms of Use are governed by the laws of the state in which Arise and Live Christian Counseling, Inc. is incorporated,
without regard to its conflict of law principles. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in that state for the resolution of any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the App.
